Personal Interests

planeI am an instrument certified private pilot, and have logged well over 1,000 hours flight time. To the left is a photograph of me and my Cessna 182/S at the Chicago / Aurora Municipal Airport (ARR).

As a pilot and financial professional, I am aware of the difficulty in staying fully informed and up-to-date in both arenas.  I can help the professional or private pilot maneuver his finances through the myriad of pension, 401k, IRA, and other investment options available to you.  I can help plot your course to retirement and help with aircraft ownership issues.  I have included an IFR checklist that every pilot, professional or not, should review periodically.

I acquired a 1930 Packard Roadster a few years ago that was completely restored. Above are before and after photos.

With aviation and classic car hobbies, I am a member of the following organizations:

Rotary International

rotaryI am also a member of the Rotary Club of Wheaton. Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders. Members of Rotary clubs, known as Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

There are over 32,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. As signified by the motto Service Above Self, Rotary’s main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.
