The process begins with a thorough review of your individual financial situation, goals, needs, and particular issues as well as risk assessment and asset allocation. Next, an Investment Policy is created which sets the guidelines for account management based on risk, timing, and other relevant parameters and establishes a customized index to set risk and return expectations based on historical results. After this policy has been created, we will execute your investment plan.
We provide a wide range of investment management services that are designed to help fund one or more of the goals established above. We can tailor our services to meet your specific needs. Most often client needs can be met by one of the following programs that we offer:
Investment Management Service:
After determining an appropriate asset allocation, we will jointly with the client create an Investment Policy which sets guidelines for account management based on risk, timing, and other relevant parameters and quote a customized index to gauge risk and performance against well-known benchmarks. We execute the program and monitor performance against benchmarks that are agreed upon with the client.
This is for those who want to "do it themselves" but still have the benefit of a periodic review by an investment professional. This can be effective with 401k plans that have some limitations on investment choices. The Portfolio Review does not include ongoing monitoring or performance measurement, but does involve a thorough review of the individual's financial situation, goals, needs, and particular issues (questionnaire). It also involves risk assessment (questionnaire), asset allocation, and specific investment recommendations based on the options available to the client.
Our fees for Investment Management and Advisory Services are based on a percentage of assets. Our fees for all of our other services will be based on a fee or hourly basis. There is no charge for an initial consultation. Most of our clients have over $200,000 in investible assets.
